PM Modi claimed Tuesday, after filing his nomination for Uttar Pradesh’s Varanasi Lok Sabha seat, that the day he resorted to such techniques, “us din main sarvyajanik jeevan me rehne yogya nahin rahunga (I won’t be fit for public life)”. In an interview with Network 18, PM clarified that when he used the terms “infiltrators” and “those with more children” in his campaign speeches, he did not mean Muslims.
