Delhi Police on Sunday said it has uncovered major lapses that led to the death of 7 newborns in a blaze that gutted a hospital in Vivek Vihar. Among several oversights, the police discovered that the hospital did not have adequate fire safety measures in place, and was overcapacity which ultimately resulted in the tragedy.
