Policeman killed in Bengal accident

Kolkata, July 23 (IANS) A policeman was killed and two others were injured Tuesday when two police vehicles collided in West Bengal’s Malda district, police said.

The accident occurred in Habibpur town early Tuesday morning when a police jeep collided head-on with another police vehicle.
“A constable has been killed and two officers have been hospitalised with injuries,” a police officer said.
On Sunday, seven policemen were killed in a road accident in the state’s Jalpaiguri district.
