Has Ronson, Winehouse’s ‘Quincy Jones’ tribute been dropped?

Washington, May 25 (Inditop): Superproducer Mark Ronson’s plans to re-team with pop star Amy Winehouse have reportedly been scrapped, after the latter failed to turn up to the studio to finish their track dedicated to Quincy Jones.

Ronson was due to return to the studio with the singer to record a new version of Lesley Gore’s ‘You Don’t Own Me’ for an upcoming album, in honour of music industry legend Jones.

However, their collaboration has reportedly been dropped from the project.

Ronson has also given up hope to convince Winehouse to fly back from St Lucia to wrap up the project.

“The track isn’t finished and she’s not around. If she’s not here then, unfortunately, there is nothing we can do about it,” Contactmusic quoted Ronson as saying.
