Anil Kapoor finds fun in work (Movie Snippets)

New Delhi, July 26 (IANS) Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor believes in the idea of having fun, and not taking things in life too seriously.

The actor was here Thursday night to walk for designer Raghavendra Rathore at the India Bridal Fashion Week (IBFW).
Often, Anil is called a style icon, courtesy his fashionable sense of dressing, which is truly age-defying.
Asked if such tags make him conscious about the way he turns out in public, he said: “I think the idea is have fun – whether it is about acting, clothes or food… enjoy yourself and have fun! You can’t always take these things seriously.”
As the showstopper at the event, Anil looked dapper in a black kurta teamed with a sleeveless black embroidered velvet jacket. And he was not a wee bit nervous.
“I feel the ramp was very well-designed… it was not formal… very casual, done up innovatively and simply,” Anil said, praising the miniature fountains between the ramp.

Jaideep Sahni went for script recce for ‘Shuddh Desi Romance’
Usually filmmakers go on a location recce, but for “Shuddh Desi Romance”, writer Jaideep Sahni indulged in some script recee.
When the script of the film was in process, Sahni made sure he didn’t miss any element. Since the movie’s plot is set in Jaipur, he explored the city by staying at railway hotels, travelled in public transport, made friends with rickshaw pullers and even ate at a roadside dhaba to get a local feel of the Pink City and its people.
His observation of details helped him to enhance the script’s flavour even as he explored popular couple spots in the city since the film has a strong connect to it. Post the script recce, he was satisfied enough to start writing it.
“Jaideep Sahni likes to soak in the ambience of a city when he is writing a script. For him, a city never represents just a location, it is about its people, the culture and so it almost becomes a character in the film,” Rafiq Gangjee, vice president (Marketing and Communications), Yash Raj Films (YRF), said in a statement.
“For this, Jaideep travelled to interior parts of Rajasthan while he was writing ‘Shuddh Desi Romance’ to trace some reclusive people who are very difficult to find and meet otherwise,” added Gangjee.
The movie, releasing Sep 13, stars Parineeti Chopra, Sushant Rajput and Vani Kapoor.

Priyanka goes ‘Exotic’ with Bheegi Billi!
Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra is doing every bit to promote her latest international single “Exotic”, and that included a dance session for animated character Bheegi Billi too!
The video, featuring Priyanka and Bheegi Billi, will be aired on 9XM starting Saturday.
“Exotic” is Priyanka’s second single after “In my city”. She has collaborated with international music producer Pitbull for the new number.
