New Delhi, Dec 31 (IANS) Automobile manufacturer Hyundai Motor India Wednesday reported a record domestic sales at over 4.10 lakh units in 2014 from 3.80 lakh units sold during 2013.
The company’s yearly domestic sales increased by 7.89 percent to 4.10 lakh units.
According to the company, the yearly performance led to its highest market share of 21.6 percent in the 16 years since the company has been operating in India.
“We surpassed our targets of selling four lakh vehicles in the domestic market by adding new products like Xcent, Elite i20 and Santa Fe to our robust product portfolio,” said B.S. Seo, managing director and chief executive, Hyundai Motor India.
“All our products have witnessed a stunning success in the respective segments, setting modern style and technology leadership benchmarks.”
